local stories - Global Storyteller

Originally from Germany, I now proudly call Muloobinba | Newcastle, Australia, my home. My passion lies in capturing compelling visuals, whether through the lens of a camera on the ground or the perspective of a drone in the sky.
In 2013, I finished my Bachelor's degree in Applied Media and Communication Science from the University of Technology in Ilmenau, Germany. It was during my practical term that I embarked on my film production journey as a production intern for the Irish detective series "Jack Taylor," filmed in the picturesque setting of Galway, Ireland. That same year, I took on the role of producer at Gaffamedia in Aarhus, Denmark.
From 2016 to 2018, I was a production coordinator at SBS Australia, contributing to "The Feed" and later in Commissioning. Concurrently, I began flying drones with Tom Bauer Ad Photography during my visits to Germany. Since 2019, I have been based in Tighes Hill, where I played a pivotal role in establishing Grandaids, a tech education service in the Hunter region.
My work spans crafting impactful documentaries, assisting on major productions, and creating meaningful social media content. I am deeply passionate about telling stories that highlight human dignity, celebrate the quirky and colourful facets of life, and promote environmental regeneration.
